The Spartan Women’s Soccer ID Camps are for players in grades 8 and above who have goals and aspirations to play collegiate soccer.
The camp is designed to:
- Identify Future College Players
- Train and teach potential players the demands of competing at the NCAA level through replicate collegiate level training sessions
- Expose players to a coaching staff that has 4 National Championships amongst them
The Spartan Women’s Soccer ID Camp features the entire staff of the SJSU Women’s Soccer Team and potentially other college staff and club coaches. This one-day event is designed for advanced player development and exposure to the top college coaches. The camp is an ideal setting for players who have aspirations of playing collegiate soccer at all levels of the game.
During the camp, we will work on technical and tactical aspects of the game in the morning as well as playing small sided (to accommodate current high school students) and full 11 v 11 games in afternoon. Between sessions, players will have an opportunity to speak with SJSU staff and players to ask questions they may have.
Per NCAA Bylaw 188.8.131.52.2, an institution, may advertise or promote a camp/clinic toward a particular audience (e.g. elite camp), provided the advertisement or promotion indicates that the camp/clinic is open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade lever and/or gender).
8:30am - Check-in
9:00am to 11:00am - Morning session (technical and small sided)
11:00am to 12:00pm - Lunch
12:00pm to 12:45pm - Education session (compliance and collegiate soccer)
1:00pm to 2:45pm - Afternoon session (small sided & 11 vs 11)
2:45pm to 3:00pm - Wrap up camp
